Ukraine launches 9/11 style attack on high-rise buildings in Russia; watch video

Drone Warfare
Eight drones were reported to have targeted the city, with six hitting residential high-rise buildings and one striking an industrial facility. The attacks occurred approximately 1,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, marking a significant escalation in the conflict. The drone strikes targeted multiple residential complexes in Kazan, located approximately 800 kilometers east of Moscow. Videos circulating on social media captured the moment drones impacted the buildings, leading to significant explosions and damage. The press service of Tatarstan's governor, Rustam Minnikhanov, confirmed the details of the attack, emphasizing the scale and precision of the strikes.
Kazan in temporary lockdown
In response to the attacks, emergency services were deployed to evacuate residents from the affected buildings. This drone strike follows a recent exchange of missile attacks between Ukraine and Russia, where Ukraine accused Russia of causing civilian casualties in the Kursk region. Reports indicated that a missile strike in Kursk resulted in five deaths, including a child, while Ukraine claimed to have intercepted numerous Russian drones aimed at Kyiv.
