New Zealand’s Carlos Ulberg made quick work of UFC light heavyweight contender Dominick Reyes Saturday night, securing a first-round stoppage at 4:27 at UFC Fight Night in Perth, Australia. With the win, Ulberg improved to 13-1 in MMA and notched his ninth consecutive UFC victory. American Reyes (15-4 MMA) saw his three-fight winning streak snapped and suffered his first KO/TKO loss since November 2022 against Ryan Spann.

Following the fight, he confirmed his plans to attend next Saturday’s UFC 320 title rematch in Las Vegas between Magomed Ankalaev (21-1, 1 NC) and former light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira (12-3) of Brazil, declaring, "I'm coming for the belt."

The main card opened with Australian lightweight Tom Nolan (10-1) submitting American Charlie Campbell (9-3) via rear-naked choke at 4:08 of the first round, halting Campbell’s three-fight winning streak and marking Nolan’s continued rise in the division.

In the light heavyweight co-headliner, Australia’s Jimmy Crute (14-4-2) earned back-to-back wins by submitting Croatia’s Ivan Erslan (14-6) with a rear-naked choke at 3:19 of the first round. Erslan remains without a UFC victory through three appearances, while Crute notched his sixth career submission.

Welterweight veteran Neil Magny (31-14) extended his winning streak to two with a d’arce choke submission over Australian fan favorite Jake Matthews (22-8) at 3:08 of the third round. Magny survived an early onslaught before rallying to his 24th UFC victory.
