The UFC has continued to expand in 2022 after having one of its most lucrative and captivating years in company history. Here is the list of upcoming UFC events and fights (cards are subject to change):
On Saturday, December 10, at Las Vegas’s T-Mobile Arena:
Main card:
For the vacant light heavyweight title, we will see a Jan Blachowicz vs. Magomed Ankalaev fight. Paddy Pimblett will fight against Jared Gordon for the lightweight title. Alex Morono and Santiago Ponzinibbio will fight in the welterweight category. We will see Darren Till and Dricus Du Plessis for the middleweight title. Bryce Mitchell and Ilia Topuria will have at it for the featherweight title.

Thailand has a chequered history when it comes to MMA, the government banning the sport as "brutal and not boxing" in 2012 before slowly allowing promotions such as One Championship to stage events. Former wrester Hickman turned to coaching and helped to popularise MMA after arriving in Phuket in 2014. "There hadn't been any education on it. But that has changed. There are MMA events in Thailand and now Loma has been signed (to UFC) that's helped Thailand become a hotbed for MMA training," Hickman said.
