UEFA Champions League 2025: Will Harry Kane overcome the Inter Milan challenge to fulfill his 'biggest dream'

Harry Kane, who switched from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich in 2023, is eyeing his first major trophy at the UEFA Champions League this year and earlier stated that winning this would be a "dream" for him.

The Bundesliga club is all set to play against Inter Milan of Serie A in the quarter-final of the prestigious tournament on Tuesday, April 8.

For the England national team captain, the match against Inter Milan is a critical one, since he recently called it a "dream" that has been in his mind "pretty much my whole life". Kane believes that the club has the "opportunity to do that this year."


"But also to do it at home in front of our fans at the Allianz, I think would make it even more special. I think when you have the opportunity to do stuff like that, it makes you excited. Of course, there'll be some nerves, excitement, anticipation," the 31-year-old told bundesliga.com.

Kane believes that Bayern Munich is a "strong enough" side to beat anyone in the tournament.

Harry Kane's journey so far

The Englishman looks to be in a bright form and has scored a total of 10 goals in the UCL matches till now. This places him in the second position, along with Serhou Guirassy of Borussia Dortmund, and only one goal behind the top scorer of the tournament, Raphinha of Barcelona.

The Manuel Neuer-led side earlier finished 12th in the League format. However, it had a dominating start to the season and defeated domestic rivals Bayer Leverkusen 5-0 across the two legs.

Kane scored three goals to eliminate Leverkusen from the tournament.

Bayern Munich, famous for its aggressive game, will have to showcase a well-coordinated play to navigate through Inter Milan's defense.

Not to forget, Inter has given away the least amount of goals (2) in the tournament so far. This includes the League stages as well.
