Ubisoft announces new Assassin's Creed Game. Details here
The next major Assassin's Creed game has been officially confirmed by Ubisoft. The French-based video game business has provided some information on the game that will follow Mirage with regard to the core series' future.

According to the video game company, the game will return to its action-adventure roots. In other words, there are no RPG mechanics in the new game. Mirage is expected to launch in 2023. But it's not all about the series, as the gaming company has made many other important announcements regarding the franchise's future.
The company is developing the first open-world version of the game for smartphones. It is set in ancient China and allows players to personalize their characters. One can even park across the famous Great Wall. Elsewhere, the French company has also said that they are working on an untitled mobile application for a gaming service for a popular OTT platform, but there are no details now. The online streaming platform and the game company are currently collaborating on a live-action series based on the game.
As for the future of the mainline series, the French-based video game company has shared some details about the game coming after Mirage. One of these games, which is in development at the company's Quebec City studios, is set in feudal Japan. On the other hand, the Montreal team is working on another game. The details are still unknown, but it seems to be centered on witches. Mirage mostly avoids his RPG mechanics in games like Odyssey, but the other games being developed seem to keep them.
The publisher also provided details about the Assassin's Creed 'Infinity' project, which appears to be some kind of online hub connecting the mainline game to a standalone multiplayer project. Please consider this to be the Animus from the plays, which you only use to start video games.
