Ubisoft has officially announced its next big Assassin's Creed game. The game is called Mirage and will be set in a series in 9th-century Baghdad, where the character taken by the players will be Basim. According to the video game company, the game will return to its action-adventure roots. In other words, there are no RPG mechanics in the new game. Mirage is expected to launch in 2023. The details are still unknown, but it seems to be centered on witches. Mirage mostly avoids his RPG mechanics in games like Odyssey, but the other games being developed seem to keep them.
