U.S Presidential Election 2024: Joe Biden likely to lose by a landslide, says former Obama advisor

Presently, as per the various national surveys, Donald Trump is ahead of Joe Biden by six percentage points. Many experts have predicted that the upcoming presidential election in November will be close to call and the two candidates will fight it out and the winning margin may be narrow. However, one such individual disagrees with this. David Axelrod who has served as an advisor to former President Barack Obama has said that Biden is losing by a large margin and Trump is poised towards a landslide victory. These comments add to the already growing voices which are skeptical of Biden’s return to the White House for a second term.

Axelrod’s assessment:

Speaking to CNN, the former advisor to Obama said that Biden is losing by a landslide. He pointed out that the realities were visible during the first presidential debate when Biden was struggling against his opponent. Axelrod also added that Biden is not aware of the ground realities and the popular political assessment across the country is that the incumbent president is losing by a large margin.



The former advisor also wrote a post on X (formerly twitter) that Biden had a 10-point lead over Trump in the previous election and won the election by a comfortable margin. He is now trailing by six points and is unlikely to return to the White House.
