U.S elections: Two latest polls show Harris ahead of Trump; women voters strongly behind her

US Vice President Kamala Harris is gaining ground among the female voters which is hugely contributing to her narrow leads over former US President Donald Trump in two latest and eminent national polls, reported Business Insider. A poll survey by ABC News and Ipsos poll revealed that Democratic Presidential candidate Kamala Harris is ahead of Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump by 4 points among the likely voters.

Business Insider also noted that another poll by CBS News and YouGov poll revealed a very narrow but a one point lead for Kamala Harris over former US President Donald Trump. As the US Presidential Election approaches close, Kamala Harris has put more emphasis on the economic issues and the reproductive rights whereas Donald Trump has focused on inflation and immigration.

US Vice President Kamala Harris holds a significant advantage among the female voters and she is leading Donald Trump by approximately 12 points in the CBS poll and by near about 14 points in the ABC poll, reported Business Insider. While it comes to suburban women, Democratic Presidential nominee Kamala Harris’s lead gets expanded to nearly 19 points which might prove to be crucial in Swing States like Pennsylvania and Georgia.

Reports from Business Insider asserted that in spite of her strengths with women, Kamala Harris faces significant challenges with regard to the male voters where Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump can be seen to have a lead of 9 points. Eminent polls also reveal a major gender gap where Kamala Harris can be seen garnering pretty strong support from women and on the other hand, Donald Trump’s appeal remain really robust among men, specifically white men without college degrees.
