Donald Trump returned to the White House following the US Presidential election of 2024 and speculations are already going on in the Democratic Party that who would be the potential candidates for the US Presidential race of 2028, reported Fox Live Now.

Gretchen Whitmer is the Michigan Governor who has gained a huge prominence within the Democratic Party specifically following her decisive reelection in the year 2022. According to Fox Live Now, Gretchen Whitmer is actually known for advocating abortion rights and she has also been the co-chair of the Joe Biden campaign.

Fox Live Now reported that California Governor Gavin Newsom who had won the reelection in the year 2022 has eventually positioned himself as a party messenger by challenging the conservative governors in significant states of Florida and Texas. Though, he has also faced severe scrutiny over issues like homelessness and increased crime in California.
