According to a preliminary arrest record acquired by Talk Business & Politics content partner KNWA/Fox 24 News, Tyson Foods CFO John R. Tyson, 32, was detained early Sunday morning by Fayetteville police officers after becoming inebriated and falling asleep in a residence on Dickson Street in downtown Fayetteville.

According to the arrest report, John R. Tyson was found asleep in a woman's bed at her residence at 445 N. Mock Ave. at around 2:05 am on Sunday, November 6. When she came and see John R. Tyson, the woman phoned the police.

The woman also informed the dispatchers that she thought the front door had been left open, which is how John R. Tyson got in. When police arrived, they found Tyson Foods CFO in the rear bedroom with his clothing in front of the bed and recognized him using his driver's license. According to the complaint, officers attempted to wake John R. Tyson up and talk with him, but he was unable to react vocally. He then laid back down and tried to sleep after momentarily sitting up. According to the report, John R. Tyson had an odour of alcohol on his breath and body, and his movements were lethargic and uncoordinated.
