US President Joe Biden has exhorted protesters in Tennessee to remain calm and maintain peace after a motorist named Tyre Nichols died allegedly following an arrest by police officials, according to reports.
Officials were planning to release the video of the controversial arrest that led to death of Tyre Nichols.
While the bodycam video of the tragic incident is to be published on Friday, lawyers appointed by Nichols' family claimed that the video would show that Nichols were beaten mercilessly.
Police officers, who were fired, are now facing murder charges. 29-year-old Tyre Nichols died after the traffic stop on January 7.
Meanwhile, Tennessee city Memphis was reportedly on the edge even as police have deployed more patrol force.
