According to a Friday media report, a close aide to Kenyan President William Ruto stated that the two missing Indians in Kenya were killed by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) unit, which has since been disbanded.

The Kenya Kwanza digital campaign team members, Mohamed Zaid Sami Kidwai, Zulfiqar Ahmad Khan, and cab driver Nicodemus Mwania, disappeared from Mombasa Road in July.

Itumbi, the man at the center of William Ruto's presidential campaign, claimed that the two significantly contributed to Ruto's success.
