Actress Blake Lively has escalated her legal fight with 'It Ends With Us' director and co-star Justin Baldoni, as per a report. In a bombshell filing, Blake alleges that two of her female co-stars from the movie will support her claims of misconduct on set, reported Daily Mail.

Co-stars ready to testify and back Blake Lively’s allegations

The actresses, who also had uncomfortable experiences working with Baldoni, are reported to have authorized Lively to release their communications as evidence in her case.

Lively's spokesperson explained that though the co-stars' names are kept under wraps for privacy, they are ready to testify during the trial's discovery process and will furnish essential documents to validate her allegations.

Legal drama heats up

The amended complaint is reported to contain substantial evidence that not only substantiates Lively's initial allegations but also points to instances of harassment, threats, and intimidation that supposedly targeted her, and other individuals on the set, as per Daily Mail.

The court battle began last December when Lively sued Baldoni for sexual harassment during the shooting of the movie 'It Ends With Us'. As a counter-reaction, Baldoni sued Lively, her publicist, and even her husband Ryan Reynolds for defamation worth $400 million, as per reports. He also sued The New York Times for its reporting of the charges, which, according to him, tarnished his reputation.

Trial set for 2026

According to Daily Mail, even with such high stakes, neither party seems to back down any time soon. The court has scheduled a trial for March 2026, and both parties have agreed not to try mediation, as per the report. Rather, it seems they're determined to take this to court.

Justin Baldoni’s legal team pushes for clearing his name

Baldoni's attorney, Bryan Freedman, weighed in on the matter on the Hot Mics With Billy Bush podcast, explaining that Baldoni is concentrated on clearing his name. Freedman said, "We are not willing to do anything until Justin is cleared of being called a predator, a sexual harasser. Until that is determined to have not happened, we will be doing this," as quoted by Daily Mail. He also explained that Baldoni has already lost out on a "significant amount of work" because of the accusations, although he did not elaborate on which projects were affected, as per the report.
