At 5 am in the morning something unusual happened at Glen Ridge Park, New Jersey. A police car chase resulted in some serial disaster as it crashed. Reports claim there are two confirmed casualties.

A Hyundai was travelling east on Bloomfield Avenue when it crashed into a park right before or around 5 am on Tuesday. The car stopped on a hill next to the Glen gazebo.

The New Jersey State Attorney General’s Office has taken over the investigation as the car was involved in a police pursuit. The location of the crash is near the New Jersey Glen Ridge Train Station, which is apparently not that affected by the incident. Also, the crash spot is across the street from Ridgemont Avenue Elementary School.

Due to active efforts made by Search and Rescue personnel, the two casualties were confirmed. They were still working frantically at 5:11 am to remove other victims present in the car crash as they were injured badly.

The main access route to Newark, Bloomfield Avenue, was closed for this investigation. DeCamp Buses has advised people that they should avoid the route of Bloomfield Avenue between Ridgewood Ave and Hillside Ave in Glen Ridge due to the ongoing police investigation. The bus services can resume picking up at Broad and Liberty.
