Twitter takes down Kanye West's post for violating rules

Kanye West violated Twitter policies the same day that Instagram confirmed that his account on the platform had been restricted for violating its policies. He tweeted on Saturday night that he was sleepy but was going to go "death con 3 on Jewish People". He added that he could not be anti-semitic as black people are also Jews. He accused 'you guys' of toying with him and trying to blackball anyone who opposed their agenda.

The tweet was up for an hour and saw huge engagement numbers. However, it has now been taken down. Twitter has posted a notice in its place saying that the tweet violated site rules.

West also posed questions about who created cancel culture and to support Iranian youth. He stated that the youth of Iran were leading a revolution against 44 years of dictatorship. He called for the world to honour their courage and support them.
