TWICE's Nayeon becomes the first female soloist to create a record-breaking pre-order inventory, here's all about Nayeon and her life

Nayeon is a member of the popular K-Pop group, Twice formed under JYP Entertainment. On 23 June, a day before IM NAYEON release, JYP Entertainment announced that the solo album had completed half a million pre-orders.


Nayeon’s mini debut track is a play on words referring to her full name. IM NAYEON is a solo track of Nayeon and is slated to release on June 24, 2022, at 1 PM KST.

Along with dropping her new track on June 24, Nayeon will also be performing the title track “POP” on MTV’s Fresh Out Live on the same day at 5 PM ET.

In the last five months, no female solo track has achieved this much popularity. IM NAYEON is the first and probably the only track in 2022 to get this immense love and support.

IM NAYEON is the most pre-ordered K-pop album of 2022 by any female solosist. In the history of K-Pop, only eleven female solo artists have managed to get half a million pre-orders. Nayeon is the twelfth female solo artist. Before her, female solo artists who gained half-million preorders were Lee So Young, Lee Sora, Kim Hyun Jung, BoA, Sumi Jo, Wax, Hwayobi, Yangpa, Uhm Jung Hwa, Lisa, and Rose.
