Twice has established themselves as one of the most successful K-pop girl groups in history since their debut in 2015. Their accomplishments range from receiving prestigious awards at the Billboard Women in Music event to achieving high chart positions with their albums, EPs, and singles. The group's latest release, "Ready to Be," was highly awaited and came out on March 10.

Twice has a massive following of 27 million on Instagram, 11.4 million on Twitter and 11 million monthly listeners on Spotify and the Twice fans are called "Once."

The famous K-Pop girl group is managed by JYP entertainment. The founder of JYP Entertainment, J.Y. Park came up with the name Twice when he revealed the group he planned to form on the competition show "Sixteen" in 2015.

The name was chosen based on the concept that the group would be able to captivate their audience twice - once through their music and once through their visuals. Park explained that the group's name represents their ability to "move people twice" through both their auditory and visual appeal.
