“In loving memory of Charlie Kirk, a fearless patriot & man of unwavering faith who dedicated his life to America,” the White House wrote on X along with the video.
Kirk’s voice is heard over the montage. He could be heard delivering some of his core messages: “Only in America is it possible to say, You know what? I don’t like the way the country is going, and to do something about it. Take that risk, take that leap of faith. Stay involved. Trust God and act obediently,” he said.
“Romans 12, 2 verse: ‘That God uses all things, all things, for good, for those who love him.’ It’s bigger than you. I want you to remember, it is bigger than you. It’s bigger than me. You are here to make someone else’s life better, the pursuit of liberty and freedom,” he added.
Charlie Kirk shooting suspect arrested
Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old Utah man was arrested in the killing of Kirk, authorities said Friday (September 12, 2025). “We got him,” Gov. Spencer Cox told reporters at a news conference announcing the arrest of Tyler Robinson in Wednesday's killing of Kirk at Utah Valley University, as quoted by news agency AP. He was taken into custody Thursday night and is due in court early next week. Investigators believe he acted alone.
Kirk, the CEO and co-founder of the conservative youth organization Turning Point USA, was a top podcaster, culture warrior and ally of President Donald Trump. He led an effort to remake the GOP’s get-out-the-vote effort in the 2024 election based on the theory that there were thousands of Trump supporters who rarely vote but could be persuaded to do so.
President Trump announced on Thursday (September 11, 2025) that he will posthumously award Kirk, his close ally, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the US.
