President Donald Trump's appearance at Thursday's, September 11, Pentagon ceremony commemorating the 24th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks generated widespread online discussion about his health, with observers noting apparent changes to the right side of his face. The 79-year-old president attended the memorial event amid ongoing questions about his physical condition that have persisted throughout his current term.

"Trump looked absolutely awful during his attendance at a 9/11 ceremony at the Pentagon," host Ben Meiselas said during a Thursday episode of the MeidasTouch podcast. "His face was very droopy, he seemed addled, like he didn't even know where he was."


Soon, speculation of Trump suffering a stroke surfaced and went viral on social media. Many users raised the question," Is Donald Trump having a stroke."

White House has disclosed previous health issues

The White House revealed in July that Trump has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a condition that occurs when leg vein valves fail, causing blood to pool. The president has since been observed with swollen ankles.

Recent bruising on Trump's hands was covered with heavy makeup, which the White House attributed to frequent handshaking and aspirin use.

A four-day absence from public appearances last month intensified speculation about Trump's condition, including unsubstantiated rumors about serious illness.

Trump will be the oldest serving president in US history if he completes a second term ending in 2029.

Social media users question president's condition

Social media users expressed concerns about Trump's appearance at the 9/11 memorial ceremony, with comedian Jeremy Kaplowitz posting side-by-side photos from the event with the caption: "So this guy like 100% had a stroke right."


Some online observers claimed a video Trump posted after conservative activist Charlie Kirk was killed at Utah Valley University showed signs of digital alteration, possibly using artificial intelligence.

"Yesterday, the video he posted had weird AI editing, raising questions on if it was authentic and just had jump/morph cuts, or if they had reworked it with AI," Adam Cochran, an independent journalist with nearly 250,000 followers, posted on X.

Cochran added in a follow-up post: "At what point, are we going to clue in to the President's stroke? He is in ailing health, and while duly paying respects to those who lost their lives on 9/11 is barely able to control the right side of his face."
