Donald Trump's approval ratings are now seeing an interesting twist, with a slight advantage going to him as 52 per cent of Americans currently approving of his overall job performance, a recent survey has revealed

TOI-Online
Donald Trump has been doing a fairly good job at the White House, and that's at least what a recent Harvard CAPS/Harris survey has found, with an overall 52 per cent of Americans saying that they are content with the new Republican President's activities at the White House.

White House approval ratings standing strong

Donald Trump's first month at the White House has been a very busy one, with the ongoing tariff controversy, followed by the Ukraine-Russia peace talk initiation, followed by the DOGE job purges, which is currently a big concern for federal employees. However, he appears to have still kept the general American audience happy, with 33 per cent of Americans strongly approving of the president’s job performance, and 19 per cent 'somewhat approved', according to The Hill's report.

Roughly, 43 per cent of Americans disapproved of Donald Trump's methods of leading the country, with the Democrats being the major contributors in this part of the survey, as Independents remained majorly neutral.

There was a stark divide in party lines when it came to this poll, At least 9 in 10 Republicans approved of the way Trump was leading his administration, while 8 out of 10 Democrats were unhappy with the reining President. Meanwhile, the Independents remained fairly neutral in this aspect, which is one reason Trump edged out in this survey.
