Trump targets another female reporter after previously calling Bloomberg’s reporter ‘piggy’ amid NYT criticism of his activity levels
President Donald Trump targeted a New York Times reporter with personal insults. This followed a report detailing a significant drop in his public engagements. The analysis highlighted a later start to his scheduled events. Trump dismissed the rep...

The Times report, which reviewed Trump’s official schedules using data compiled by Roll Call, found that his public engagements over the first 10 months of his return to office dropped by 39 percent compared with the same period in 2017.
It also noted that Trump’s daily start times have shifted significantly later: his first scheduled event began at 10:31 am on average in 2017, compared with 12:08 pm during his second term. His days still ended around the same time, shortly after 5 pm.
The 79-year-old took to Truth Social at 9:47 am to denounce what he called “the creeps at the failing New York Times” and dismiss the report as a “hit piece.”
“They know this is wrong, as is almost every thing that they write about me, including election results, ALL PURPOSELY NEGATIVE. This cheap “RAG” is truly an “ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE,” Trump wrote.
He further attacked veteran White House reporter Katie Rogers, claiming she was “assigned to only write bad things” about him and deriding her as “a third-rate reporter who is ugly, both inside and out.”
“There will be a day when I run low on Energy, it happens to everyone, but with a PERFECT PHYSICAL EXAM AND A COMPREHENSIVE COGNITIVE TEST (“That was aced”) JUST RECENTLY TAKEN, it certainly is not now,” he added.
Although Trump has repeatedly cited his “perfect” test scores, questions about his health continue to circulate. Observers noted visible bruising on the back of his hand, and during the summer he reportedly underwent checks for “mild swelling” in his legs, fueling further speculation.
Former White House physician Dr. Jeffrey Kuhlman told the Times that Trump is frequently “sedentary” while working in the Oval Office.
A source close to the president told that Trump now favors holding press interactions in the Oval Office or Cabinet Room so he can remain seated and avoid fatigue from standing for extended periods.
Trump’s attack on Rogers came just days after he lashed out at Bloomberg’s Catherine Lucey, who pressed him on whether his administration would release FBI files tied to Jeffrey Epstein.
During an exchange with reporters aboard Air Force One last week, Trump jabbed a finger in Lucey’s face when she tried to follow up on a question about his relationship with Epstein.
As she began, “If there’s nothing incriminating in the files, sir, why not,” he abruptly cut her off: “Quiet! Quiet, piggy.”
