Speculations flooded the internet worldwide over US President Donald Trump's whereabouts after he hadn't been seen in public for quite a while. When false reports of his death spread widely on social media, the talk reached its peak. But on Saturday morning, President Trump was finally spotted, debunking all his false death rumors.


What did Donald Trump do on saturday morning?


Donald Trump's motorcade left the White House at 8:45 a.m. ET to go to a golf course in Virginia. He was seen getting into a car on the South Lawn with his granddaughter Kai. The president looked calm and wore a golf outfit with his signature red "Make America Great Again" hat on top.

Trump was wearing a clean white polo shirt, black pants, and his famous red MAGA hat. He and his granddaughter Kai got into a car on the South Lawn and then drove to Virginia in his motorcade, as quoted in a report by Newsweek.

The rumors started after Donald Trump had not been seen in public for a few days. Grok, X's AI-powered chatbot, said that by Saturday morning, posts about Trump's supposed death had gotten more than 1.3 million likes, comments, and shares. The hashtag #whereistrump even became popular in the US, where it was the sixth most popular topic, as quoted in a report by Newsweek.

Was there an official answer?


A post showed up on Trump's Truth Social account on Friday night. It wasn't clear if Trump wrote it himself, but the message backed up his position on tariffs by calling a recent appeals court decision against them "highly partisan" and warning that getting rid of them would be a "total disaster" for the U.S. economy.

"The exact same thing is now happening with some left-wing influencers on X, who seem to think President Trump is dead and a cover-up is underway."

According to Ian Bremmer, a political scientist and founder of the Eurasia Group consultancy, rumors about Putin and Xi's deaths have spread widely on the internet.
