Trump says Harris' interview with 60 minutes was grossly edited and must be investigated; is it so?

Former US president Donald Trump has accused US vice president Kamala Harris regarding her interview with CBC's 60 minutes, as Trump thinks that segment of Harris in the interview is grossly edited to give her presidential approach.

Former US president Donald Trump requested a formal investigation regarding the interview of incumbent vice president Kamala Harris with CBS's 60 minutes. He made an acquisition that her segment was grossly edited. Republican nominee Trump has made an accusation that Democratic candidate Kamala Harris's portion in the interview of CBS's 60 minutes was grossly edited to give her a presidential approach and make her responses more coherent.

Trump posted on his social media platform, TruthSocial, that the answers of Democratic nominee Kamala Harris were virtually coherent and her content was edited many times by claiming that her answers were altered multiple times in a single sentence. Trump wants to reflect that the alleged editing should be considered a major campaign violation. Republican nominee Donald Trump also wrote that the public deserves an immediate apology for this edit and that the investigation should start today, as per the HuffPost.

The video clip is suggesting that Democratic nominee Kamala Harris is answering questions in a different way than she answered the same question in other footage shared by the network. Journalist Bill Whitaker asked questions to US Vice President Kamala Harris about whether the U.S. has no sway over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or not. Kamala Harris replied at length in one version of the footage, while she responded against the same in a direct approach and in shorter in another footage that was shared by CBS.

Uncertainty regarding the video footage

The difference between the two video footages of the recent interview of US vice president Kamala Harris is still not clear, and hence those footages are leading to uncertainty regarding the variations, and also a doubt is arising as to whether the footage is edited for clarity or length. Former US president Donald Trump is not participating in his own interview with 60 minutes, although the program is a traditional platform for presidential candidates from 1968, according to the HuffPost.
