Danvers and Navarro overpower Raymond Clark

While still at the underground laboratory, Danvers and Navarro find a passageway that leads to a ladder. After reaching the ladder, they find a hatch leading to one of the rooms in the Tsalal research facility. They find Raymond Clark who attacks them, but they overpowered him somehow.

How Annie was killed?

As Danvers and Navarro question Raymond, he reveals how the Tsalal researchers murdered Annie. He also tells them that Tsalal was pushing out bogus pollution numbers for the Silver Sky mine because the pollution from the mine helped soften the permafrost around the fossils they were studying. This angered Annie and she started destroying the scientists' research work. Raymond stabbed her impulsively with a star-shaped object.
