Trudy Busch Valentine has stepped into the politics of the Democratic primary in Missouri for the Senate race in the United States. She moved on to this position after defeating Lucas Kunce and nine different politicians on Tuesday. Lucas Kunce is a veteran Marine officer.

A nurse and a philanthropist, Trudy Valentine's campaigns are mostly self-funded; she put her own money into winning this election. In November 2022, she has her biggest battle yet against Eric Schmidt, the Attorney General. Her fight against the Republicans will be in the red state of Missouri. Undoubtedly, Valentine would be an underdog against such a politician.

Roy Blunt, the Republican Senator, said in his announcement last year that he would not be looking for a third term, which would send his job into a bizarre game. More than 30 members of the party are ready to switch lanes and run off to the other two huge parties that are also running in this election.

Why is Grietens' political career almost over?
The Democratic party barely managed to attract sufficient attention from the Republican party. This was because of the presence of Grietens. Four years ago, Grietens had to resign due to the scandals they were involved in. They were involved in a sex scandal, there were allegations of breaking the law several times, and there was a high possibility of impeachment.

Who is Trudy Busch Valentine?
Valentine is a nurse, mother and philanthropist, whose primary focus is on children's care. Raised by Gertrude Buholzer Busch and August Anheuser Busch Junior, she is the daughter of one of the world's largest brewery developers.

Her husband, John Valentine, had died of cancer at the age of 49. As a single mom, she has raised six children on her own. Her oldest son, Mathew, also succumbed to a long-lasting opioid addiction. It has been Valentine's mission to counter the opioid addiction of the people of Missouri as it has claimed a lot of lives for her people.

Trudy Busch Valentine is still a nurse and is working for the nursing board. She also devotes her time to many charitable organisations that help take care of children and their dangerous issues. Saint Louis University, in 2019, dedicated a nursing department to her, naming it the Trudy Busch Valentine Nursing School.

As the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in the US, she managed a lot of people to get help from the hospitals. She helped many people in Missouri get their vaccinations as quickly as possible. She also took part in the administration of the vaccines directly to the people.

As a nurse herself, she is aware of what problems ordinary people face due to healthcare and is willing to work for it. Reducing the cost of healthcare so that all the people in the United States can receive the benefits of medical technology is one of the biggest agendas of her political career.
