Trevor Noah hosted The Daily Show for seven years and won an Emmy Award and MTV "Best Host" for it in 2017.

"The Daily Show" is a super-popular show across the globe, which analyses current affairs with Noah’s trademark satire. The show is widely considered to be the best comedy show airing on television today. Unfortunately for the fans, the South African felt that it was time for him to quit the show.
In the announcement last month, Noah said that he wanted to get back to doing stand-up, which he loved the most. He said staying at home for two years during the pandemic helped him decide after realising that he needed to explore "another part" of his life, referring to stand-up comedy.
Comedy Central released a statement appreciating Noah’s contributions to the show. Paramount Media CEO Chris McCarthy stated that the famed comedian was an incredible talent who left a huge impression on the show. Noah joined "The Daily Show" in 2015, taking over from Jon Stewart, who hosted the show between 1998 and 2015. Noah also served as the writer and executive producer of the show and won the MTV Best Host of the Year Award in 2017.
