Travis Kelce is brushing off the criticism Taylor Swift faced during his recent game. On his "New Heights" podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs player discussed the varied responses from New England Patriots fans regarding his girlfriend's appearance at Gillette Stadium.

"They showed Taylor at the game," shared the 34-year-old tight end with his brother Jason Kelce on Wednesday.

He added that it is not common for an entire home team fan base to go wild for someone donning opposing colors.

Travis admitted that there could have been a couple of Brads and Chads booing, but overall, everyone was loudly cheering for her.

The athlete confessed to "keeping it cool" and refraining from "revealing [his] cards.”

He mentioned that it had been fun and Taylor had previously expressed that the stadium was one of the most fun she had played at. He gave a shout-out to the Patriots for showcasing it to her.

Travis, alum of "Catching Kelce," additionally complimented the presence of the Grammy winner's father, Scott Swift, noting that he attended in a stylish vintage sweater.

Travis stated that Mr. Swift was in full Chiefs gear and he added that it looked really good on him.

The ex-reality star met Scott, aged 71, in Argentina before jointly attending one of Taylor's Eras Tour performances last month.

Travis mentioned to podcast listeners in November that he might have convinced Scott to become a Kansas City Chiefs fan during their dinner the night before they met.

On Sunday, Scott made his first appearance at one of Travis' games, where the Kansas City Chiefs player secured victory with a 27-17 win.

Despite Taylor facing boos from some Patriots fans, she shrugged off the negativity, sharing laughs with friend Brittany Mahomes.
