The Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Philadelphia Eagles 20-17, marking their second consecutive defeat of the season. The Chiefs had previously lost to the Los Angeles Chargers in their season opener.

Following the loss to the Chargers, Kelce addressed the team's performance on the September 10 episode of his "New Heights" podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce.
