Now that his Kansas City steakhouse with teammate Patrick Mahomes is officially open, the 35-year-old says wedding planning has become his top priority, according to the report.

Kelce shared, “That’s the next step in it all,” adding, “That one is gonna be easy, I just have to figure out how to win a football game first,” as quoted in the E! Online report.

Their wedding update plans comes as a surprise to many fans as earlier reports suggested that the couple were going to take some time to enjoy their engagement before launching into the planning stage, as per an Instyle report.

A source had told People that, "Taylor and Travis have been in celebration mode ever since the engagement," adding, "They are not in the wedding planning phase yet," because they "want to enjoy being engaged," as quoted in the report.

While Swift has kept quiet on social media since confirming the engagement in an August 26 Instagram post, she has spoken in the past about how she envisions wedding planning, as per the report.
