Travis Barker drummer of the famous Blink-182 rock band has been reportedly hospitalized in Los Angeles for undisclosed medical issues. Several media reports confirmed that the 46-year-old Barker was accompanied by his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, at the West Hills Hospital on Tuesday morning. Subsequently, Barker was shifted to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center at Beverly Boulevard.

Barker had tweeted “God Save Me” on Tuesday evening, though there’s been no word on the medical emergency that led him to the hospital. Travis Barker married Kourtney Kardashian last month. The wedding, which took place in Portofino, Italy, was televised on the Hulu’s The Kardashians reality show.

Interestingly, “God Save Me” is also a song from Machine Gun Kelly’s recent album that Barker produced. The song is about drug addiction, mental issues, fame, and recovery from them. Therefore, it remains unclear whether the tweet was about his health or the song his produced and co-wrote.

However, Barker does have a history with hospitals. Previously, he has suffered from illnesses like staph infection and cellulitis, and was also admitted to a hospital in 2018 for blood clots in the arms. Moreover, Barker also survived a plane crash in 2008, which gave him third-degree burns throughout his body. Before Barker’s tweet, Alabama Luella Barker, his daughter, wrote a note on Instagram, asking his fans to send prayers for the drummer.

Prayers and wishes started to pour in soon. One fan replied to Barker’s cryptic tweet,

“God save the greatest drummer (arguably the greatest musician) of all time. He’s too young to die. He just started his marriage and he is happy. Please don’t steal him from his wife, and his children. This guy deserves your grace lord, and we know you know that. Amen.”

Another fan wrote on Twitter,

“Everyone please, pray it works! People who don’t believe studied the effects of praying for a sick person, they had no idea people were praying for them and they improved, no praying group, not much improvement compared to group prayed for!”

Per media reports, Travis Barker is currently working on an unscripted series called ‘Inked and Iced’, which will follow the drummer’s recent business collaboration with Dr Tom Connelly.
