Travelers and an employee were involved in a physical altercation at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. The fight, which was captured on video, included the use of ‘Wet Floor’ signs as weapons.

What Happened

A confrontation occurred in Terminal Three of O’Hare Airport. A group, including an employee in a blue shirt, appeared to attack a man in a white T-shirt. Punches were thrown, and floor signs were used to strike each other. Videos of the event were widely shared online.

The videos show participants using yellow plastic floor signs to hit others on the head and body. At one point, the man in the white shirt defended himself by knocking one individual to the ground. He also pulled dreadlocks off another attacker’s head.

As the confrontation continued, the man in white picked up a metal stanchion to protect himself. He waved it at the attackers, forcing them to retreat. This action ended the fight.
