Tour de France 2023: Route
The Tour de France route for this year covers a distance of 3,404 km (2,115 miles) and spans three weeks. It starts in Spain’s Bilbao, marking its first-ever stage in the city. It's the second year in a row that the Tour begins outside France.
The challenging race concludes on the iconic Champs-Élysées in Paris, as it has done since 1975. The riders will tackle one stage per day, with two rest days scheduled on July 10 (between stages 9 and 10) and July 17 (between stages 15 and 16).
