Tornadoes wreak havoc in Central Texas, many injured
Twenty-three people were reported hurt as a group of tornadoes swept Central Texas near Salado. Officials report significant loss of properties.

According to sources, 23 people suffered injuries in the Texas tornadoes. The only relief is that no one is dead. The officials took twelve of them to the nearest hospital. The hospital said that only one is in a critical condition, and others shall get discharged soon. Immediate aid and nothing else were required by the remaining 11.
The most destructive of the tornadoes passed the Salado village, a place of historical importance, causing wrecks in areas of rural Bell County, located between Austin and Waco. The tornado traveled 7 miles on the ground.
Blackburn, the County Judge, stated that the tornado's path got destroyed. Even big trees got uprooted, and buildings and power lines were scattered everywhere. He termed the loss as "pretty devastating."

Where is the series of tornadoes headed next?
As predicted by the National Weather Service, a series of tornadoes is expected to cause much destruction. It has already hit central Texas, i.e., north of Austin and Waco.
Thunderstorms and hail are expected to extend in different parts of the eastern part of Texas, such as San Antonio, Houston, Huntsville, and Killeen.
Eastern, northern and western parts of Louisiana like Shreveport and Alexandria and southwestern Arkansas are likely to be hit next.
Strong winds with large hail are predicted to hit areas of Mississippi such as Hattiesburg and Jackson and western parts of Alabama like Mobile, Birmingham, and Montgomery.
These thunderstorms will rage on for the next few days. Cities like Columbus and Macon in Georgia, Tallahassee, and Destin in Florida should be prepared for these damaging winds.
The southeast coast will be affected by strong winds, but its potential for damage will lessen until it reaches Florida and nearby areas.
How did the tornadoes begin?
A week before the attack of tornadoes began, the National Weather Service predicted the rare and severe weather conditions. Storms generally take form when there is a region of low pressure. There was the formation of the southward plunge in the jet stream of the Gulf of Mexico. Warm and moist air surges through the northern part of the gulf to clash with the comparatively cool and dry air in the Rockies. It punched out from the Rockies. It finally moved towards the southern plains on Tuesday. This caused severe thunderstorms and hail followed by solid winds.
