However, this weather adversity will not move very swiftly towards the Plains, and this delayed movement of the storms will curb the potential for a significant impact and chances of severe destruction, says FOX Forecast Center.

US regions currently at Level 3 and Level 2 risks, claim weather reports

More than 700,000 people across cities like Abilene, San Angelo, Big Spring and Brownwood in the Texas region and Altus in the Oklahoma region have a threat for a severe weather impact due to the ensuing storms. In Nebraska's southern half, almost 23 million residents are at a Level 2 risk related to the adverse weather conditions.


According to Fox News, there are chances of multiple rounds of thunderstorms in regions extending from Kansas to Oklahoma. Moderate and frequent lightning can be seen in the initial half while there are chances of a moderate sized hail.
