The return of Cardi B
Seven years after her Grammy-winning debut Invasion of Privacy, Cardi B has released Am I the Drama?, her second studio album, on September 19 through Atlantic Records. The 23-track project includes a roster of high-profile collaborators: Summer Walker, Selena Gomez, Kehlani, Lizzo, Cash Cobain, Janet Jackson, Tyla, and Megan Thee Stallion. The Bronx-born star will support the album with the Little Miss Drama Tour, set to kick off in 2026.
Destroy Lonely drops Broken Hearts 3
Rapper Destroy Lonely also marked release day on September 19 with Broken Hearts 3 (stylized as ᐸ/3³), his fifth mixtape and a continuation of the Broken Hearts series that began in 2020. The project arrives via Opium and Interscope Records, following his 2024 studio album Love Lasts Forever.
The mixtape was preceded by the single “Jumanji”, released September 12.
Hunxho's For Her 2
Rounding out the week, Atlanta’s Hunxho released For Her 2, a continuation of his 2023 project For Her. The album, out via 300 Entertainment, builds on the success of his Gold-certified single “Your Friends”. The album is set for release on September 19, 2025.
Its lead track, “Intimate Relationships”, sets the tone with candid lyrics about heartbreak and vulnerability. Hunxho uses the record to expand on the personal storytelling that first won him a loyal audience in East Atlanta.
