Tony Ganios, the actor well known for roles he portrayed in 'The Wanderers' and 'Porky's' franchise, has died at the age of 64 years. Amanda Serrano-Ganios, the fiancée of Ganios took to social media on Tuesday to mourn the death of her partner.

Tony Ganios, the actor who is well known for the roles he has played in "Porky's" and "The Wanderers" franchises, has allegedly passed away at the age of 64 years according to a source.

Amanda Serrano-Ganios, the fiancée of Ganios took to social media on Tuesday to mourn the death of her partner and further shared a Ganios photo which was black and white.

On X, Serrano-Ganios has written that the last words that they said to each other were 'I love you' since Love is a restraint, further writing on X that he was her everything, his soul, his heart as well as his best friend.


It was confirmed to TMZ and Fox News that Ganios had passed away on Sunday due to cardiac arrest. He has been under hospital care during the weekend after an emergency surgery on Saturday for the treatment of an infection in the spinal cord.
The outlets were told by the fiancée of the actor that though the surgery became a success, Ganios has suffered from heart failure after being on dialysis.

Which was the first movie of Ganios?

Ganios has made his debut as an actor in the "The Wanderers," the 1979 crime drama which is directed by Philip Kaufman. Ganios has played the role of Perry with co-stars Karen Allen, John Friedrich, and Ken Wahl.

In the year 1981, Ganios has portrayed the role of Meat Tuperello in 'Porky's' directed by Bob Clark. Further Ganios has recapitulated his role in the sequels of the film – 'Porky's II: The Next Day" of the 1983's, the "Porky's Revenge" of 1985.
Ganios appeared in the movies "The Taking of Beverly Hills" and "Die Hard 2" in the early part of the 90s.

His last role was in 'Rising Sun', the 1993 crime drama as per the IMDb page of Ganios which reconciled him with Kaufman, the director of 'Wanderers'.
