According to reports, Chet, 33, woke up at 3 am when he found a man trying to break into his house in Los Angeles. Actor and musician Chet reportedly took matters into his own hands, engaging in a physical altercation with the intruder by delivering punches and attempting to restrain him. According to TMZ, the suspect did not stop fighting back even when the police arrived.

Additionally, the man broke the leg of a police officer by falling on top of him after handcuffing the alleged intruder. After the suspect was placed under arrest, the officer and the suspect were both transported to the hospital. Fortunately, the actor-musician was not physically injured during the incident. Meanwhile, the suspect was later booked by the police for burglary. Further, it is now up to the L.A. County District Attorney's Office whether the suspect will face charges or not.
