Tom Cruise expresses gratitude to audience for its support of 'Top Gun: Maverick' while falling from jet. Watch Video

After three decades, Hollywood star Tom Cruise arrived at the Cannes Film Festival for the screening of his film 'Top Gun: Maverick'. With the sky filled in red, white and blue colours, and the air ringing with loud applause and screams of 'Tom', the star made a spectacular entry. At the screening, the star also received an honorary Palme d'Or and a heart-touching 6-minute-long standing ovation.

For her first red carpet appearance at the Cannes, Tamannaah Bhatia opted for a bubble hem Gauri and Nainika gown with a trail. The actress looked graceful as she completed her look with dramatic eye make-up and heavy shinny jewellery. The star's red carpet look was styled by Shaleena Nathani.

English actress Rebecca Hall, who is on the jury at Cannes this year, debuted her short hair in a pink and orange sequin Gucci dress.

On her first day at Cannes, Hina Khan rocked a red attire from the label Rami Al Ali by as Syrian fashion designer. The actress made her Cannes red carpet debut in 2019.

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had a 'ball' at the red carpet of Cannes. Dressed in black Dolce and Gabbana ball gown with a band of 3D floral motifs, the actress looked enchanting. She also shared a candid moment with her close friend Eva Longoria. Both are brand ambassadors of L'Oréal.

Deepika Padukone, who is on the jury this year at Cannes, paid a tribute to Indian heritage as she walked the red carpet in black and gold saree by designer Sabyasachi. With heavy eye make-up, the actress tied her hair in a bun and accessorised it with a golden hairband.

Urvashi Rautela also made her debut on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival 2022. The actress donned a white off-shoulder ruffle gown with a long trail. Rautela looked elegant in Tony Ward couture.

The A Team aka the Indian delegation led by I&B Minister Anurag Thakur, took over the red carpet with their charm. Thakur was joined by R Madhavan, Ricky Kej, Vani Tripathi, Shekhar Kapur, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Prasoon Joshi. The team even posed for a selfie.
