Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas split after realizing ‘Spark Had Gone,’ couple to remain friends amid upcoming film projects

Tom Cruise, 63, and Ana de Armas, 37, have reportedly ended their romantic relationship after less than a year together. Sources close to the couple indicate that while they enjoyed their time together, they mutually agreed that the romantic spark had faded, deciding to part ways amicably and remain friends.

According to The Sun, Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas recently decided to end their romantic relationship, realizing they are better off as friends. A source close to the couple said, “Tom and Ana had a good time together, but their time as a couple has run its course. They are going to remain good friends, but they aren’t dating anymore. They just realised they weren’t going to go the distance and that they are better off as mates.”

Despite their breakup, de Armas is still set to star alongside Cruise in the upcoming supernatural thriller Deeper, directed by Doug Liman. Although production has reportedly been delayed, the project remains on both their schedules. Additionally, the two are expected to collaborate on another film titled Pressure.


Throughout their brief relationship, Cruise and de Armas were seen together at various public events, including attending a David Beckham birthday party, traveling to Madrid and London, going to an Oasis concert at Wembley Stadium, and vacationing on a yacht in Spain.

Ana de Armas is known for her roles in No Time to Die, Knives Out, Blade Runner 2049, and Blonde. She was previously married to Spanish actor and model Marc Clotet from 2011 to 2013 and dated actor Ben Affleck for ten months in 2020 after meeting on the set of thriller Deep Water.
