Tom Brady, the quarterback, and Gisele Bündchen, the supermodel, have finalised divorce settlement and have filed for it after 13 years of marriage. The couple posted separate comments on their Instagram stories on Friday morning to confirm the news.

While Brady and Bündchen had drifted apart, Bündchen acknowledged that she was grateful for their time together. Bündchen and Brady both pleaded for privacy as they wrapped up their remarks.

TMZ reported that less than two hours before Brady and Bündchen's statements, the supermodel and former Patriots quarterback had reached a divorce settlement and were preparing to file formal divorce papers in Florida.
