Tokyo Revengers Season 2: Anime show to stream on Disney Plus as Walt Disney expands partnership with Kodansha

It is official now- the Japanese Anime Tokyo Revengers are back. The Season 2 episodes titled Christmas Showdown will be on air in January 2023, exclusively on the Disney plus network. The announcement also mentions increased collaboration with Kodansha, which means more anime shows will come up on the platform.

With the global demand for quality anime doubling in the past two years, Disney plans to focus on Anime as premium content. As a result, Disney has revived their previous partnership with the Japanese publishing firm Kodansha.


An active collaboration between the two will help create a strong backup of anime stories. In addition, focusing on Asian content may also help Disney to stay ahead of its competitors.
