Welcome to today’s Nerdle, folks. The equation we have today is simple, though you might need all six attempts to get it right. However, if you’re new to the world of Nerdle, let’s take a quick guide to this unique mathematical puzzle.

What is Nerdle?
Nerdle is a unique internet-based game inspired by the ultra-popular word game Wordle. The difference is that instead of a five-letter word that you need to find in Wordle, you need to guess a mathematical equation to solve Nerdle. The game was invented by Richard Mann, a data scientist who came up with the idea while chatting with his teenage daughter.

Rest everything remains the same – six tries per game, one game per day, and a browser-only approach. The game is one of the many internet-based popping up since the launch of Wordle that actively discourages addiction, unlike the data and money-hungry games that want you to be hooked for ages.

How to Play Nerdle?
Out of all the games inspired by Wordle – Quordle, Heardle, and Nerdle – the latter is the most complicated one. You get six tries to guess the correct equation, but guessing an equation can be a bit tricky, especially for newcomers. You can start playing the game by following this link. Once on the game, you will see a grid of six slots with eight blocks each. You need to start the game by guessing an equation with as many different numbers as possible.

For instance, you can type 2x4+5=13. As you type, the equation will pop up in the first block. If the numbers or symbols you type are a part of the correct equation, they will turn purple, and if they are in the correct positions, they will turn green. Once all the blocks turn green, you win the game. Otherwise, the game will display the correct answer after six failed attempts.
