What is Heardle?
Heardle is an musical puzzle game on the internet. The game will let you listen to a small portion of a well-known song and require you to guess the artiste’s name to win the game. The game is heavily inspired by the ultra-popular word game Wordle, which became a superhit during the lockdown era.

How to play Heardle?

Players can access the game by clicking here via their mobile and desktop browsers. Once on the website, you can listen to the first second of the day's song and start guessing its artist's name. You can type the artist's name in the search bar and choose the one from those popping up that you feel is the correct answer. Like Wordle, you get six tries to guess the right answer, and you can listen to additional parts of the song with each attempt. You get to hear the initial 16 seconds of the music to guess it right.

Today's Heardle is a popular folk song from 1988. The song hit the top 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK singles chart. The song was nominated for the Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and won the Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the Grammy Awards.
