Overwatch characters won't be available to new Overwatch 2 gamers immediately. The latest posts on the Overwatch website revealed that after completing 100 matches, the entire list of Overwatch 1's original 32 heroes will unlock. That is a new hero per three matches.

The purpose behind this move is to avoid subjecting new players to an excessive amount of learning. This move is undoubtedly a rational and organised approach to begin the game, given that each hero has a distinct set of skills and counters. However, a Reddit user commented on this, saying it was an excellent strategy to keep gamers in the game.

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) says that if you have won money playing online games in the previous financial year, then you must file an updated ITR (i.e., ITR-U) and pay taxes on winnings accordingly. CBDT chairman Nitin Gupta recently said that ITR-U could also be utilised by those categories of taxpayers who have income from online games, lotteries and betting etc. "This is a provision for them to come forward and pay taxes rather than face the consequences of penalty or any other legal action under the income tax law," the CBDT chairman said.

However, video game company Blizzard Entertainment or Blizz, who is the creator of the game, announced that the restriction wouldn't be there if a new gamer is playing in a group as this access will only unlock after completing a specific challenge in the game.

Despite several controversial posts, a few gamers appreciated this move by Blizz as it may prevent the chances of getting roasted by better players and reduce the hackers and smurfs in the game.
