Tink releases brand new studio album 'Pillow Talk'. Details here
The Chicago native Tink, who went independent in 2017 after running into labelling issues with Timbaland’s Mosley Music, has released 16 new songs in her latest album.

The Chicago native was born as Trinity Laure’Ale Home on March 18, 1995. Nicknamed Tink by her elementary school friends, she decided to keep it as her stage name. She is best recognised for her song “Treat Me Like Somebody.” Her 2014 hit “Don’t Tell Nobody," in which she collaborated with producer and singer Jeremih, made her a popular name in the music industry.
She has released seven albums since her debut in 2011 with her mixtape, Winter's Diary. Labelling issues related to Think Tink in 2015 saw her go independent a couple of years later. In 2014, she released another mixtape, Winter’s Diary 2: Forever Yours. It went on to be featured as a top 10 R&B album of the year by Billboard and Rolling Stone. She was also a part of the XXL 2015 Freshman Class.
After signing a deal with Timbaland’s Mosley Music group in October 2014, she ran into labelling issues next year. Think Tink, her debut studio album, was to be released in 2015 but Timbaland delayed the project. Timbaland had made headlines earlier by indicating that Aaliyah had described Tink as “the one.” In a 2018 interview to FADER, Tink said that the album was finished, but Timbaland made the call to postpone its release. Tink gave him the benefit of the doubt, saying he might have wanted to perfect it. But Tink got frustrated by the delay and went back to her earlier formula that had gained her such a massive fan following. That year, she released Winter's Diary 3, the third mixtape in the series. The album featured “I like,” one of her most famous songs till date.
The following year saw Tink release several tracks, including Winter’s Diary 4. Rolling Stone mentioned the album as one of the “40 Best Rap Albums of 2016.” It was ranked 20 in the list.
Tink finally got out of her Mosley contract in 2017. She spent most of the year negotiating her way out of the contract, and even took a six-month hiatus from social media. By the end of the year, she reached an agreement with Mosley for the rights of the unreleased songs from Think Tink. Now an independent artist, Tink has gone on record to mention that she has no interest in collaborating with Timbaland again.
Tink’s latest, Pillow Talk, is produced by Hitmaka. The two are rumored to be dating, but they have denied all the rumors recently on Angela Ye’s podcast. The duo said they were only focusing on making music.
