When Walz, 60, made the remarks at Howard University in Washington, DC, he was seen sobbing and covering his heart. The governor of Minnesota was accompanied by his daughter Hope and wife Gwen, both of whom were wearing sunglasses. In the crowd, Harris' stepdaughter Ella Emhoff was also observed crying.
