The US elections 2024 are now as close as it can get, with the polls set to begin in a couple of hours throughout the nation. With Americans going to the polls, who is having the edge in some of the swing states and what are the latest US election...

The Yahoo News/YouGov survey had been gunning for Kamala Harris in its last three polls, and had even given her a whopping 5 percentage points leaf after their September 10 debate. However, the current situation is that Kamala Harris and Trump are now both tied nationally with a 47% voter approval. This is the first time this survey has placed them at a tied position since Kamala Harris joined the US Presidential election race on July 21.

Meanwhile, the Des Moines Register poll that was conducted between October 28 and 31 and has been released over the weekend clearly shows that Kamala Harris is leading Donald Trump among voters in Iowa, a state that was not very friendly to Democrats in previous Presidential elections. In fact, the same poll had given Trump an 18 point lead over then candidate Joe Biden back in June this year. But once Kamala Harris joined the Presidential ticket, things started falling in place for the Democrats.
