Ticketmaster crashed as presale started for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour
Users started facing difficulties with accessing Ticketmaster as the highly anticipated Taylor Swift Verified Fan presale for the Eras Tour kickstarted.

Taylor Swift has released four albums and re-recorded two albums following her previous tour in 2018, which has increased demand to see her perform. It is well-known how difficult it has gotten to find tickets on Ticketmaster.
Fans were told on the Ticketmaster website that the seating chart would not reflect availability, and it is puzzling that a better system has yet to be implemented after so many website outages and ticket scalpers raising prices.
‘Swifties’ or the popstar’s fans were tweeting their way through their agony. There is a 2000+ people are waiting to purchase the tickets. One tweet read: In the Taylor Swift ticketmaster line, presumably, every single one of the world's 8 billion inhabitants is in front of me.
Another tweet read: As if Taylor Swift weren't one of the biggest performers in the universe, ticketmaster said, "We're sorry about all the technical issues, this demand was unforeseen."
It was much more terrible for the Swifties, who weren't selected to participate in the Verified Fan presale. On Monday (Nov. 14), as soon as Verified Fan selection emails started to appear in inboxes, fans were either ecstatic to receive presale codes or furious that they had been overlooked.
