Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart used public transport in New York City on Monday. They were seen walking in the Upper West Side before heading to a subway station.

Couple Rides Subway

The couple walked together before reaching the station. They shared a quick kiss on the platform. Flockhart then boarded the express downtown 2 train. She was heading to her off-Broadway play. Ford followed her instructions and took the downtown 1 train. He got off at 59th Street.

Ford Talks to a Commuter

While on the train, Ford sat next to a woman in pink. He spoke with her during the ride. He told her that he had not taken the subway in years.

Ford wore a button-down shirt, dark blue jeans and black boots. He also had black-rimmed glasses and a watch. Flockhart dressed in a gray sweater, baggy blue jeans and a blue hat. She also wore a black face mask and carried a black backpack.

This was Ford’s first public outing since stepping down as an Oscars presenter. He had withdrawn from the event last month due to health reasons. His representative confirmed that he had shingles. Ford was supposed to present at the ceremony on March 2 but canceled his appearance the day before.

The week before, Ford attended the SAG Awards. He was nominated for Outstanding Performance in a Comedy Series for Shrinking on Apple TV+. Martin Short won in that category. The show also lost in the Outstanding Ensemble category to Only Murders in the Building.

At the SAG Awards, Ford explained that Flockhart did not attend because she was in New York. She is starring in Curse of the Starving Class. The couple met at the Golden Globe Awards in 2002. Ford proposed in 2009, and they married in 2010 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
