Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown becomes a mom; actress and husband Jake Bongiovi adopt baby girl
Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown and her husband Jake Bongiovi have adopted a baby daughter, the actress confirmed Thursday(August 21) in a social media post.

Brown, 21, shared the announcement on Instagram, writing: “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were 3. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.”

Busy year for the actress

The adoption comes at a major career milestone for Brown. She recently completed filming the fifth and final season of Netflix’s Stranger Things, expected to premiere at the end of 2025. The supernatural drama made her a household name at just 12 years old.

Earlier this year, she starred in The Electric State, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, and wrapped production on a third Enola Holmes movie in June. Brown has also appeared in Damsel and two Godzilla films.

Life with Jake Bongiovi

Brown and Bongiovi, the son of musician Jon Bon Jovi, began dating in 2021 and announced their engagement in April 2023. They tied the knot in a private ceremony in Georgia in May 2024, followed by a larger celebration in Tuscany.

While the couple shared their joyful news publicly, they stressed the importance of privacy as they began parenthood. The adoption marks another personal milestone for Brown, who has also been recognized globally for her activism, including being named a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador at 14.
