Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be the very first foreign leader to visit US President Donald Trump's White House during his second term which is all scheduled for February 4 of the year 2025, reported The New Republic. In spite of facing an International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant for his alleged war crimes in Gaza, Benjamin Netanyahu will meet US President Donald Trump without any sort of legal impediment.

According to The New Republic, the meeting eventually follows a recent ceasefire in Gaza which Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu strategically delayed until just before the inauguration of US President Donald Trump. At the same time, Donald Trump has already demonstrated support for Israel by lifting restrictions on military aid which included approving the transfer of 2,000 pound bombs previously halted by the former US President Joe Biden administration.

The visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu comes amidst severe multiple legal challenges which includes several allegations of bribery and breach of trust in the country Israel, asserted The New Republic. However, during such ongoing times, both US President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio have consistently defended the actions of Israel and condemned the warrant of ICC.

Senate Republicans at the same time attempted to advance a bill sanctioning the ICC, though Democrats on the other hand blocked the measure.

During the meeting, reportedly discussions are eventually expected to focus on regional peace, shared adversaries and potential further military support, noted The New Republic. US President Donald Trump has previously expressed his huge support for controversial proposals like relocating the population of Gaza and maintaining strong US-Israel relations.
